When the moon is full, he comes to the front of my mind.
I hope that he is staring at the same moon.
I look up and my body begins to tingle, as the hairs on my body stand on end.
My hands tremble, and shake violently as my eyes blur.
And I feel his presence.
It is warm and soft to the touch.
"Why lover, you have found me," I say.
He nods his head and outstretches his arms.
I embrace him, and place his head on my chest.
I feel his heart begin to beat faster, then it changes to a slow and melodic thump.
I look about, and we are no longer on this plane, but at a place where there is no pain, suffering or want.
We walk hand in hand down the worn path to the shoreline of the lake.
We watch as the moon passes across the ripples in the water.
I hold him close to me, and we both feel the warm breeze make its way across the water.
It is night and we must spend what little time we have with each other.
I pick him up in my arms and carry him over to the large oak tree.
There we lay holding each other, discovering each other's bodies in the moonlight.
Time stops...and we are grateful.
May whomever god watches over us, allow us this moment with Time.
And so we continue to hold each other, and the only sound is that of four lips smiling.
Tonight will live on for eternity, and thus we will enjoy it.
Time has halted itself for as long as It can.
We are beckoned to return back to that place which is filled with animosity and hate.
I stand up, and take his hand in mine gathering him upright.
I stand in awe of his beauty, his dark features inspire emotions never felt in my soul before.
I kneel down on my right knee and kiss the back of his hand.
He looks at me befuddled, but quirks a smile anyway.
His hands are soft, yet firm as they are placed on the sides of my face.
I get scooped up, his face all a glow, it is bright and comforts me.
Where to now love, for we are beckoned back?
He looks me in the eyes and passionately kisses me.
I see beyond Time and Its devices, for my eyes are being opened to the hereafter.
A vision of a small child playing, and I gasp for air.
I shed a tear, for I have seen her, and I now know what lies in store for us.
We must go back for her then? I whisper as I clutch onto his back.
My mind sings, as we walk back down the path, and look back to the world for which we must return.
Though it is full of viles and warmongerings, we walk on constantly looking at each others eyes.
Our feet move, but we can no longer feel the path beneath them.
For our path has changed, and it bends to our will, not the will of others whom would change our path for their own desires.
The edge is near, swirls of smoke and mist envelope where we must return.
We don't know what will become of the world, but for certain we can rely on each other, and love.
Arms wrap both of our torsos, and I pick us both up and jump into the cold waters of reality.
And there we will make it so, no longer letting the world decide our fate, but rely on ourselves.
For there is a small girl waiting to be born, and she is ours.
